Nigeria’s Super Eagles have slipped to 35th position on the latest FIFA rankings following their unproductive AFCON 2022 qualifiers.
π Morocco have climbed four places on the FIFA Ranking and are now 35th in the world, tied with Nigeria. Africa have six nations inside top 50:

The three-time African kings were forced to back-to-back draws by the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone earlier this month.
Their first meeting at the Samuel Ogbemudia ended 4-4 despite Gernot Rohr’s taking a four-goal lead in the first 30 minutes of their fixture.
While their second leg in Freetown failed to produce a goal and this came after Nigeria lost 1-0 to Algeria and then another 1-1 draw vs Tunisia.
This, however, means that the Eagles relinquished their 32nd position in the last rankings for Turkey in the ratings released on November 26.

In Africa, Nigeria maintain their fourth position with Senegal topping the chart while Tunisia and Algeria rank second and third on the continent.
Morocco moved four places up to rank fifth behind Nigeria this month. Meanwhile, Belgium remain the best footballing country in the world, followed by 2018 World Cup winners, France.
Brazil, England and Portugal complete the top five best football teams across the globe due to their performances in their recent international duties.
