“He’s having treatment but I could be doing some bluff and pretend he’s in trouble, but he’s not and I think he’ll play [against Arsenal].”

Tottenham are top of the league, while the Gunners are in 14th place.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, believes Alexandre Lacazette has found his new position, after he impressed in the 4 -1 win against Rapid Vienna on Thursday.

Lacazette was played as a number 10 for the Europa League clash at the Emirates. The Frenchman opened the scoring within 10 minutes and also struck the woodwork later in the first half.

Pablo Mari made it 2-0, before Eddie Nketiah finished off a fine team move just before half-time. Emile Smith-Rowe added a fourth in the second half, after Koya Kitagawa pulled one back for the visitors.

Arteta was delighted with the way Lacazette played behind main striker Nketiah, telling reporters: “He’s played a good game in that position. It suits him.

“He’s really good at linking play, he worked hard and scored a beautiful goal.
