That result has left Los Blancos on the brink of exiting the competition, which they have won 13 times in the past.

Real also sit in fourth place in LaLiga, having suffered three defeats from their opening 10 matches, seven points behind leaders Real Sociedad.

Ramos is said to have called the meeting with the players, although it is understood manager Zinedine Zidane did not attend.
