Ahead of the November 6 gubernatorial election of Anambra state, Over Five thousand (5,000) Anambra Students registered Voters meets in Oko.

The students in Anambra State under the ‘Students Advocating for Anambra Youth Governor’ are calling and agitating for a Youthful Governor cum 2021 and said they are ready to pursue that course.
The Coordinator of this movement, Comr Ikechukwu Sabata while addressing the press at Oko after their general meeting said the students of Anambra State are out and ready to work with any party ready to produce a Youthful candidate cum 2021 Governorship election and that with over 5000 registered members of the movement and its other structures, it has the capacity to deliver the Youthful candidate..
He went further to state that the Students needs a government that will pay full attention to its welfare and also empower the youths.
He however acknowledged the efforts of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano for including a lots of young people in his government which have improved the degree of youth participation in governance.
