Gov Uzodimma Flags Off Imo APC Registration, Revalidation Exercise

The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has flagged-off the Imo State APC registration and revalidation exercise at his ward in Oru East Local Government of Imo state in line with the directive of the Caretaker and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

While performing his civic duty, the Governor charged members of the party in the LGA to continue work assiduously and in harmony in order to give reasons for others in the opposition to join the party and expand its reach in the ward, LGA, Zone and the state at large.

He further decried the percentage of membership of South East people in APC describing it as a log in the wheel of the zone’s political ambition in the coming years. He added that APC is just controlling two states out of the 5 states of the South East zone and charged all and sundry to push the campaign in all nooks and crannies of the South Eastern zone till the zone embraces APC fully.

You may recall that early this week, Governor Hope Uzodimma joined by other South East leaders flagged-off the APC registration and revalidation exercise in the South East zone and had performed similar function at the state capital for the entire zones in the state before leaving for his home town LGA.

Those in company of the Governor for the exercise are the State Deputy Governor, Prof. Placid Njoku, the speaker IMHA, Rt. Hon. Paul Emeziem, the Deputy Speaker, Rt. hon. Chyna Iwuanyanwu, the Chief of Staff Government House, Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie, Imo State APC chairman, M. Nlemigbo and in attendance were the IMC chairman of Oru East, Political appointees from Oru East extraction, party leaders and stakeholders from the zone amongst other personalities and party faithful’s.
