Head coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League side Enyimba international, Fatai Osho has heaped praises on the players for their amazing performance against Nasarawa United, Anaedoonline.ng reports.
The People Elephants defeated host Nasarawa United 1-2 at the Lafia township stadium in the match day 8 of the league.
Osho also praised the hosts for the way they approached the game but give kudos to his players for the manner they kept them at bay.
” Nasarawa United team is a formidable team, if you see the way they played, they were tenacious, they threw everything at us but we are so resolute. Tactically we got right today, I must say and we gives kudos to the players for the tactical discipline they exhibited.
“We have a lot of players that has offensive minded but we have to put them in the defensive position, they came so close to us and that have us opportunity to attack.
We are so pleased and we can’t be happier,” he stated. The win put Enyimba on top of the table pending the outcome of the remaining two matches.
