SUPER FALCONS: VICTIM OF MARKETABILITY OR SACRIFICIAL LAMBS OF NFF’s BAD ATTITUDE?

Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum will be aiming for his third win in as many games as manager of the African champions, when they take on Equatorial Guinea at the Emir Sports Complex in their final game of the Turkish Women’s Cup tournament on Tuesday.

The 1999 World Cup quarter-finalists edged Uzbekistan 1-0 on Saturday evening – same scoreline they recorded over CSKA Moscow in their tournament opener on Thursday.

Equatorial Guinea have not exactly created any sensation at the tournament in Turkey, after losing their two matche s to Uzbekistan and CSKA Moscow, conceded seven goals in the process.

“It is good to sustain the habit of winning,” Waldrum said after his second win with the Falcons.
