Anambra Police Command and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) are in war of words over claim of alleged killing of 21 herders since January 2021. The latest killing of four of its members occurred on Saturday, Chairman of the group in the Southeast, Alhaji Gidado Sidikki, alleged.

Supreme Court Justice, Sylvester Ngwuta is dead. Sources at the apex court confirmed that Ngwuta died in the early morning of Sunday in his sleep at his official residence in Abuja at almost 70. Sylvester Ngwuta was said to be getting set for his retirement from the Supreme Court on March 30, 2021 upon attainment of 70 years mandatory retirement age.

The body of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) has expressed concern about the growing  insecurity that now characterises the Nigerian State, saying that the Fulani herdsmen’s operation with arrogance and disregard for their host communities and the safety of people, in particular, is a red flag, indicative of the precarious state of the nation.
