The government of Anambra state has commiserated with the Nwankwo family of Ifite-Dunu, Dunukofia local government area, over the demise of their son, Dr. Basil Nwankwo. The late Dr. Nwankwo was until his death, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku, Awka.

Enugu State Government on Wednesday took delivery of an undisclosed quantity of AstraZeneca Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines. The Head of UNICEF, Enugu Field Office, Mr Ibrahim Conteh, who received the consignment, said that he was delighted that the vaccines had finally arrived in the South East.
