The Board Chairman of Anambra State Housing Development Corporation. Chief Emeka Etiaba, SAN, has resigned his appointment. Anaedoonline.ng learnt Emeka Etiaba, son of the first female Governor in Nigeria, Dame Virgy Etiaba, resigned his appointment earlier this month but kept it away from the press.

Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi has advised youths of the state to stay off politics until and focus in the pursuit of their dreams. The governor made the assertion on Wednesday during an Ebonyi State EndSARS Summit hosted by the state government in Abakaliki. According to him: “Remove your minds from politics and succeed first. The government of Anambra state has commiserated with the Nwankwo family of Ifite-Dunu, Dunukofia local government area, over the demise of their son, Dr. Basil Nwankwo. The late Dr. Nwankwo was until his death, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku, Awka.

The Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Uche Okafor, has donated two Sienna buses to the Anambra State Police Command as part of his social responsibility to support the Police in its fight against crime in the State.

Enugu State Government on Wednesday took delivery of an undisclosed quantity of AstraZeneca Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines. The Head of UNICEF, Enugu Field Office, Mr Ibrahim Conteh, who received the consignment, said that he was delighted that the vaccines had finally arrived in the South East.
