Europa League Quarter-finals Draw Released (See Full fixtures)

The draw for the Europa League quarter-final was conducted on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland. Manchester United will play Granada and Arsenal have been paired against Slavia Prague. Ajax play Roma, while Villarreal will clash with Dinamo Zagreb for a place in the semis.

The first-leg matches will be played on Thursday, April 8, 2021. The second legs are scheduled for Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Meanwhile, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has paid tribute to AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, following his side’s Europa League round of 16 second-leg 1-0 win against the Serie A giants on Thursday night.

Solskjaer described Ibrahimovic as a ‘fantastic and very strong player,’ adding that he managed to defend against the Swedish international at San Siro.

Solskjaer’s men defeated AC Milan in Italy, thanks to Paul Pogba’s second-half goal.

The Red Devils qualified for the Europa League last-8 on 2-1 aggregate, having played a 1-1 draw in the first leg last week.

“Zlatan‘s a fantastic player and very, very strong, and he knows what he’s doing out there, so you always have to be on your toes and read the situations in a good way,” Solskjaer said at his post-match.

“But today, I managed to defend it well, and like I said, I’m very pleased for that.”

In a related news, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has been included in the UEFA Europa League team of this week.

UEFA released the Europa League team in a post on its official website on Friday morning following the conclusion of the round of 16 second-leg fixtures on Thursday night.

Pogba was impressive for Man United as he scored the only goal that ensured the Red Devils defeated AC Milan 1-0 at San Siro to qualify for the last-8.
