After applying different criteria and permutations, Chelsea FC have been named as the English club of the decade for 2011-2020.

According to IFFHS, Chelsea beat Manchester City and Manchester United to win the prize.

The Rankings are decided by rating victories and draw from each competition.

The Blues defeated Bayern Munich in Germany to win Europe’s top trophy back in 2012.

Chelsea clinched two Premier League [2015, 2017], FA Cup [2012, 2018], League Cup [2015], Champions League [2012] and two Europa League [2013, 2019].

Meanwhile, Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has revealed how Chelsea can become Premier League and Champions League contenders next season.

According to Ferdinand, Chelsea need to sign a Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland, in order to become Premier League and Champions League contenders.
