Musician and social activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has appealed to his fans on social media to stop comparing his age with that of All Progressives Congress chieftain, Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, clocked 69 on Monday with a colloquium celebrated in his honour in Kano State.
On the other hand, the Area Fada and son of respected jurist, Chukwudifu Oputa will clock 71 in June.
Several photos of Charly Boy and Tinubu also known as the Jagaban have since surfaced online with many comparing the looks of the two. Many fans have also argued that Charly Boy looked younger and youthful than Jagaban.
However, in a string of tweets on Tuesday, the Area Fada wondered how folks compared his age with that of Tinubu on the APC stalwart’s birthday every year.

“If we even compare our titles, Area Fada and Jagaban, which of them large pass, no be fada born all the pikins?” Charly Boy asked in pidgin, adding, “Abeg, make Nigerians stop all this nonsense”.
Area Fada, however, congratulated Tinubu on his 69th birthday.
Anaedoonline.ng reports that the national leader of the All progressive congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is nine years older than his daughter, Folashade Tinubu Ojo.
This publication gathered that Tinubu is celebrating his 69th birthday today March 29, 2021 as claimed, and Wikipedia page also confirmed that he is 69.
However, what is confusing in the age issue is that his daughter who is the Iyaloja of Lagos, Folasahde Tinubu Ojo is 60 years, according to Wikipedia, she was born in 1961.

If this is anything to go by, it means Asiwaju is nine years older than his daughter, which is quite unbelievable.
Meanwhile, Governor Babjide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has hailed the All Progressives Congress’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 69th birthday.
