On Tuesday, Armed robbers reportedly killed three persons when they attacked a bank in the Issele-Uku, Aniocha North Local Governments Area of Delta State.
Eyewitnesses said the robbers stationed their gang members at strategic positions in the town while some of them robbed the bank unhindered.

It was gathered that customers were held hostage inside the bank for almost an hour, while other gang members outside shot indiscriminately.
“Unfortunately, four persons died in the operation while many were injured and rushed to nearby hospitals,” an eyewitness said.
When contacted the acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident.
Edafe said he was in contact with the division for a quick response on the details of the incident.

He said, “I have yet to get the details of the operation, but I learned that three persons were killed in the operation. I will get back to you.”
