The factional Chairman of the Imo State All Progressives Congress APC, Mr. Dan Nwafor, took a swipe at the Federal House of Representatives member representing Okigwe South, and former Imo Commissioner For Finance, Chike Okafor, accusing him of betraying former governor of Imo State, and Senator representing Orlu Zone, Senator Rochas Okorocha, as well as selling out the APC to the PDP.

Chike Okafor had dumped the camp of his Political benefactor Okorocha, and pitched his Political tent with Senator Hope Uzodinma, who is presently Okorocha’ s most bitter enemy.

Reacting to Nwafor’ s post, the former Zenith bank staff, dismissed Nwafor as being too low to be dignified with a response from him. He went further to delete his comment, but not before people read it.

The reaction had led to a war of words, between supporters of former governor Rochas Okorocha, and supporters of Chike Okafor.

Okorocha’ s supporters are of the view that Okafor is not happy with Okorocha, for dumping him for the Governorship ticket of the party, despite marketing him to President Muhammadu Buhari, as his choice in 2019.

Okorocha took Okafor to Buhari on several occasions, but it was later discovered to be a ploy to deceive Buhari, and give Okorocha time to perfect his plan of foisting Uche Nwosu on Imo people.

Former APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomhole, would work with Senator Hope Uzodinma, and members of the APC coalition, including former Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, former SSG Sir Jude Ejiogu, amongst others, to foil Okorocha’ s plans of succeeding himself with his family member.

Following Uzodinma’ s emergence through the Supreme Court, and the political battle that followed, Chike Okafor decided to change alliance, and joined Uzodinma’ s faction, against his former crowd.

His decision, have gandered a lot of reaction from those who believe he betrayed Okorocha, who gave him the chance in politics.
