Chelsea takes on Arsenal in the Premier League this midweek, with Thomas Tuchel’s side looking to cement their place in the top four.

However, Arsenal is unbeaten in their last three meetings with Chelsea and will be looking to finish the season strongly following their disappointing Europa League exit.

With the Blues due to take on Leicester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday, Tuchel has the option to rotate his side against the Gunners, but Mateo Kovacic and Andreas Christensen will miss out due to injury.

Despite Chelsea’s dominance in the opening stages, Arsenal took the lead against the run of play, with Alexandre Lacazette opening the scoring in the ninth minute.

The French striker played a one-two with Emile Smith Rowe on the edge of the Chelsea area and when receiving the ball back, the forward unleashed a snapshot.

With Zouma unable to get close enough to block the shot, Lacazette’s effort sailed into the top corner and made it 1-0 to the Gunners.

The rest of this simulated game was largely Chelsea’s attack against Arsenal’s defence, with Mikel Arteta’s side unable to get a hold of the game due to the Blues’ intensity in possession.

The home side had a few chances to equalise, with Kai Havertz spurning a good chance in the area, but in the 20th minute, Timo Werner made it 1-1.

A brilliant through ball from Mount set Werner clear of the Arsenal defence, and with Cedric fast approaching, the German forward smashed a finish into the near post to put his side on level terms.

In the second half, it felt like it was just a matter of time until Chelsea found a winner, but it took them until the 80th minute to find a breakthrough.

The winning goal was set up by Mount once again, who from the right-hand side, produced a brilliant cross into the path of Havertz, who met the cross perfectly and volleyed the ball into the corner from close range.

A great goal from Tuchel’s side, and it proved to be the winner.

FIFA 21 predicts that Arsenal may not be able to cope with Chelsea’s intensity in and out of possession and will eventually succumb to defeat, but they are also more than capable of scoring a goal out of nothing.
