Victor Moses To Leave Chelsea On Permanent Deal This Summer

Former Nigerian international Victor Moses will leave Premier League club Chelsea on a permanent bases during the forthcoming summer transfer window, Complete Sports reports. Moses who joined the Blues in 2002 managed 87 appearances for the club where he scored 7 goals.

He has been on loan to seven different clubs including Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce, Inter Milan and Spartak Moscow where he currently plays.

He is billed to complete a permanent deal with the Russian side according to latest reports from GOAL which claims the club want him for £4million should they qualify for the Champions League.

That target was effectively achieved on Monday night with a 2-1 victory over Khimki, leaving a defeat and 10-goal swing on the final day of the campaign as the only way that Spartak will miss out on European football’s premier competition.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a productive season, contributing three goals and two assists from 18 appearances on either side of midfield.

Moses recently announced the arrival of his third child recently and the forward released a photo of his weeks old son on social media. The former Nigerian international was blessed with a boy whom he christened Caiyro on a post made on Instagram.

“My baby boy Caiyro.”

The Spartak Moscow star received pleasantries from his colleagues at Chelsea including assistant coach Paulo Ferreira and Danny Drinkwater. He has been showered with congratulatory messages on Instagram for his former international and club teammates.

Chelsea center-back Antonio Rudiger was not left out in celebrating with the former Blues winger as he said:

“Congrats Brother.”
