Former Presidential candidate and leader of Revolution Now Omoyele Sowore has been shot by a female police officer during a rally in Unity Fountain Abuja.
The officer is identified as CSP Atine. Our correspondent reports that the happy trigger officer fired a teargas canister directly at Sowore before firing his gun directly at Sowore who was on Facebook Live.

Reacting to the shooting, Adeyanju Deji, who shares almost the same actibisim spirit as Sowore said ” I was just 3mins away from Unity Fountain when I got the call that Sowore has been shot by the police. This is the Nigeria some people want others to believe in by force.”
