The family members of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T B Joshua on Tuesday met in Lagos to plan his burial.

The cleric died in Lagos in the early hours of Sunday few days to his 58 birthday.

An uncle of the deceased, Salisu Musa, while speaking with Punch on the development said the burial date had not been decided by the family.

He said, “We (family members) have just arrived in Lagos; we are to hold a meeting to decide on the burial arrangement. As soon as we meet and decide, we shall let you know.“

Recall that the monarch of Arigidi Akoko in Akoko North Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, on Monday appealed to members of SCOAN to allow their leader to be buried in his hometown.

However, the Ondo State Government has been called on by the monarch of Ibaram Akoko, Oba Olusegun Atibioke, to consider immortalising the late cleric by naming an institution in the state after Joshua.

He appealed to the family of the cleric to bury the late pastor in his hometown.

A source had disclosed that there was a mass procession in Arigidi Akoko to honour the cleric.

The source said, “All markets and shops still remain shut, while town service buses were not on the road,”
