How did the case of adoption become a kidnapping? This the question on the lips of many people of Nnewi right now.
A missing girl was found by one Victor Onyeabor, a student of Nnewi High School in the custody of one Ms Cecilia Okafor, a childless woman who claimed she adopted the child through one Mrs. Ekene Ngozi formerly known as Ngozi Nwizu from Ezira Orumba South LGA of Anambra State from a Motherless Babies Home.
But it turned out that the two and half years old child was kidnapped since February 19th 2021 and the parents, Mr Ogonna and Chinemerem Okafor, have been looking for their child.
When the child was found with Ms Cecilia Okafor by Victor Onyeabor, she tried to argue with him until they took the matter to Obi Abubor Nnewichi who interrogated the culprit and eventually the real mother of the child was called and as soon as the child saw her real mother, they embraced each other.
Meanwhile, the case has been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
