Zamfara Police Killing: Shehu Sani Reveals Those Behind Banditry

Shehu Sani, Human rights activist, and former Kaduna Central Senator, has described the recent killing of 13 policemen by armed bandits in Zamfara State as cruel.

He also added that there is no end in sight for such criminal activities until some identified persons are arrested.

The former lawmaker spoke in his reaction to the gruesome murder of 13 police officers and injury to seven others by armed bandits in the state.

Anaedoonline.ng recalls that State Governor, Bello Matawalle in a statement on Sunday, said he was shocked and devastated by the incident which occurred in Kurar Mota community in Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

Reacting to the ugly incident, Senator Sani in a post on his Twitter account on Monday called for the arrest of notorious bandits’ leaders like Karami, Turji, Dogo Gide in order to stem the tide of banditry in the country.

He wrote: “The Killing of 13 Policemen in Zamfara by Bandits is another horrific and tragic act of cruelty. Until the law catches up with the notorious gang leaders like Karami, Turji, and Dogo Gide, there will be no end in sight to these atrocities. This is where the nation’s might is needed.”
