Uduak Akpan, the suspected killer of Iniubong Umoren, has pleaded guilty to the murder of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) graduate. Akpan appeared before the Akwa Ibom High Court in Uyo on Monday, reports Premium Times. The suspect had been paraded by the state’s police command alongside his father in May.

The Nigeria Police Taekwondo Association has announced the commencement of the 9th Inspector General of Police Open Taekwondo Championship. The annual event, introduced in 1995, will hold at the Nigeria Police Badminton Complex, Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State from July 27 to July 30, 2021.
