AnaedoOnline can confirm via multiple sources Popular Abuja Chef, Emeka Vincent-Eloagu, has been found dead in his residence late Sunday night.

We learned that the body of Emeka, widely known for his range of cuisines in Abuja had been discovered by his wife.

Friends and Associates of Emeka confirm that “Emeka was killed last night’; adding, “we do not know how and why but we are all in shock.”

“What will anyone have against Emeka? He was the most beautiful human in and out.”

“We will wait for the family to issue a formal statement, but at this point, we are still devastated by the news about his demise”. The source said.

Another account says, “Emeka was murdered last night in his house by suspected persons known to him as he had allowed the persons into the house, they left him tied up and naked in his apartment – the source continued, “two men had gained access to the Premises – they strangled him”.

His last Instagram post reveals a throwback of a meal he had prepared at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja. On his official website welcoming visitors, Emeka wrote, “Our tailored menu gives you a range of cuisines to choose from; or better still, dishes can be custom made according to your preference”.

The statement continued, “So go ahead, order a Chef Emeka experience. Our aim is to gratify your taste buds and leave you wanting more”.

To mark his 35th birthday, the late Emeka, who is the Head chef and creative director of Helenes Food Company, launched his cookbook titled 35 Easy Recipes For You To Cook. The book contained 35 essential recipes – Emeka is survived by his wife, family members.

Chef Emeka is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Paris with a Grande Diplomé in cuisine and patisserie. He creates a combination of French cooking methods with Nigerian cuisine, and is the Head Chef at Helene’s Food Company, Abuja and he is known to have hosted celebrities and politicians at his restaurant.

The statement on his website states, “Chef Emeka believes in the artistry of food; he believes good food connects us with people and places and is an important aspect of cultural heritage. He enjoys traveling the world, learning about different cultures and dishes.”
