However, after failing to respond to calls and messages pushed through to him at a particular time, Adeniran later reached out to confirm that he truly has resigned from his appointment.

The Attorney General though did not mention any reason for his decision, he said it was not as a result of “massive corruption” in the government.

“It is true that on 8 November 2021, I formally notified His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, the Governor of the State, of my decision to resign from the cabinet,” the Attorney General noted in a statement issued through Gov Abiodun’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Emmanuel Ojo.

“I must state that my reasons for resigning are purely personal. I am not aware of any “massive corruption” in the Administration and I am indeed very proud of what we have been able to achieve in the administration of justice over the past two years,” Adeniran added.

He mentioned that he had thoroughly enjoyed working with those he called an amazing group of administrators, technocrats and experts in various fields of endeavour under the Abiodun led-government.
