Lekki Tollgate Shooting: Burna Boy Drags Lai Mohammed After Lagos Panel Report

Multiple award-winning artiste Damini Ogulu with the stage name Burna Boy has mocked the federal government of Nigeria over the report of the Lagos State Judicial Panel on the #EndSARS protests and the Lekki Toll Gate shooting.

Burna Boy in his reaction said the report exposed the lies and dirty secrets the government was trying so hard to hide about what transpired during the protest which rocked the country in 2020.

He also dragged the country’s Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed over his role in all that transpired.

Anaedoonline.ng recalls the report of the panel led by Justice Doris Okuwobi which was submitted to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos on Monday, disclosed that not less than eleven people were killed at the Lekki tollgate incident.

The report added that at least 48 protesters were either shot dead, injured with bullet wounds, or assaulted by soldiers.

The revelations have continued to generate reactions both locally and internationally particularly as Minister Lai Mohammed had on several occasions after the Lekki Toll Gate shootings of October 20, 2020, insisted that no life was lost, and even demanded apologies from persons and organizations with reports on loss of lives during the incident.

In his view, while reacting to the disclosure made by the Lagos Panel report, Burna Boy via his Instagram stories, said the report has exposed the lies of the government and the truth is now in the public.

He wrote: “I just slept and woke up to see government Nyash open far and wide today.

“You cannot clean innocent blood with Lie Mohammed.”
