People are already volunteering to face Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Tinubu, who calls himself the Lion of Bourdilon, said this while reaffirming his unwavering commitment to becoming the country’s president in 2023.
On Sunday, the APC national leader made a consultation visit to the Olubadan designate, Dr Lekan Balogun, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Tinubu was in Ibadan to seek the traditional ruler’s blessings and support for his presidential campaign.
“Every time a Yoruba tries to be president, there are difficulties raised, questions answered, and all kinds of roadblocks met,” Tinubu stated.
“We’ve arrived at a fork in the road; when asked who would face the Lion of Bourdilon, many are volunteering to face me.”
According to Anaedoonline.ng, one of Tinubu’s closest political associates and allies, Rauf Aregbesola, the current Minister of Interior, attacked the former Lagos Governor over the APC’s leadership in Osun State and issues relating to who will be the party’s flag bearer in the upcoming governorship election.

“However, since we positioned him higher than where he typically should be, he started to think he is our god,” Aregbesola stated in an address to party faithful and stakeholders in Ijebu Ijesa, adding that God will bring down anybody who dares to fight His place with Him.
