The Monday sit-at-home would continue throughout Igbo land until Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), is released.

On Sunday, Bishop Abraham Udeh mentioned this.

He also advised the Ndigbo to disregard the 2023 Presidential election because it would be futile.

Udeh stated in a statement issued in Nnewi that the imprisonment of the IPOB leader has caused Ndigbo tremendous misery.

He urged the Federal Government to end the sit-in by releasing Kanu, so sparing Igbo more pain.

Because of Kanu’s incarceration, Udeh claimed, Igbo were being phased out in stages.

“Those who are wasting their time talking about a Nigerian President of Igbo descent should realize that it would not work,” he says. That initiative has never had my backing.

“Who’s to say an Igbowoman won’t be permitted to try out that seat? However, if an Igboman gets elected President by mistake, he would not be able to hold the position for long.
As a result, it’s been disclosed to me.”

Each time a sit-at-home order was announced in the South East, the Bishop stated his spirit was torn apart.

2023 Election: Bishop Udeh Reveals Shocking Prophecy

He believes that if the Federal Government does not want to destroy the Igbo through the sit-at-home exercise, Kanu should be released or sent to a detention facility.

“Federal Government should release Nnamdi Kanu from the Directorate of the State Service (DSS) detention unconditionally, or send him to a correctional center to avoid this every Monday sit-at-home order.

“Federal Government is not considering the plight of the poor masses in the South East. Everyone knows that there are people, and they are in large numbers, who cannot feed themselves or their families, if they do not go out on a daily basis to labour.

“What do they expect this class of people to be doing, to die of hunger with their families?

“The blood of the innocent Igbo are crying every day. If you come out to look for your daily bread, your life will be in danger because of sit-at-home.

“I call on the Federal Ministry of Justice to do the needful to save this ugly situation. The economy of the Igbo has nose-dived. Our businesses are paralyzed and many people in Igboland are dying of hunger.

“Nothing is working again in the South East. The people of South East are made to suffer extraordinary hardship whereas Ndigbo are known for enterprenuership, ” the Cleric said.

Udeh, who is the General Overseer of Mount Zion Faith Global Liberation Ministry, added that FG should not pretend not to know that Ndigbo had been suffering because of the series of sit-at-home orders.
