The newly-installed state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State have been ordered to strive towards reconciling all disgruntled citizens in their respective areas.
This came as he emphasized the need of the party being unified at all levels if it is to win the 2023 elections.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Governor Bello delivered the charge on Monday at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, where he presided over a meeting of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and installed the party’s state chairmen.
Gov Bello Alleges He Has Been The Acting Chairman of APC For A Long Time
The Governor of Niger State emphasized the need of all disgruntled parties sheathing their swords and joining hands to work for the party.
Governor Bello stated, “By the time you return, you will have united the party in your different States.”

“What we want in your different States is a united, cohesive APC,” Bello said. “We have elections coming up, and we hope and pray that with God’s grace, we will have a better outcome in 2023 than we had in 2019,” he said.
This is as it remains unclear if Niger State Governor, Sani Bello has fully taken over as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) or Yobe Governor, Mai Mala Buni remains in charge.

Reacting to the development, Melaye took to his Twitter page where he made two separate comments.
First, he shared a photo of himself mocking the APC with a caption: “RIP APC: 2014 – 2022. 8 Years old. Gone too soon. Announcer- SDM.”
Later, he also wrote: “How not to run a political party. President Buhari released Executive Order 009 of 2022. If na true say Buni don go ….e mean say soja blood no dey change sha. Oga ooooo.”
