Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has stated that he will announce his presidential candidacy in 2023 soon.
On Tuesday, the Vice President made the announcement through his spokesperson, Laolu Akande, in response to inquiries from State House media.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is now focused on his work with President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Akande.

“Well, as he has stated previously, he is dedicated to the mission for which he was chosen Vice President and to supporting the President.
“That is what he is focusing on right now,” he added, adding, “and as I also stated in my last tweet, whatever his activities or whatever he would do will be announced publicly shortly.”
