LATEST Transfer: Haaland Agrees Personal Terms With Chelsea
Haaland’s Dortmund contract includes a £63 million release clause, but his agent, Mino Raiola, is sure to get a sizable fee. The overall cost of the acquisition, including those fees and a signing-on incentive, is expected to be around £100 million.
Barcelona and PSG are also interested in the Norwegian striker, although City’s primary competitor is considered to be Real Madrid.
Nonetheless, there is a strong possibility that Haaland will play for Pep Guardiola next season.
After leaving Leeds United, Haaland’s father, Alfie, spent three years at City, and the family still has ties to the club.
