Abdulmumini Jibrin Kofa, the Ahmad Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaigns Director, has accepted a reconciliation offer in the House of Representatives’ Kiru/Bebeji Constituency contest problems, which prompted him to leave the party.
“I’m ready for talks,” Kofa stated after accepting the reconciliation efforts set to take place on Sunday at Governor Ganduje’s request.
Governor Ganduje had urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) state secretariat to take urgent steps to address internal issues among interested aspirants in the Kiru/Bebeji federal seat, which had led to Kofa’s departure from the party.
To that purpose, the party secretariat called a conference of stakeholders to examine the situation in the constituency.
According to a statement issued by Abdullahi Abbas, the head of the party’s state chapter, all hopeful candidates for the job have been invited.
According to the report, Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa has accepted the suggestion and is prepared to attend the conference.
In a statement, Abbas urged all parties to be calm and work with the APC to address the internal conflict, assuring that the conference will produce a stance that was acceptable to all hopefuls.
