Anambra Lawmaker, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor has been inducted as a Fellow of Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA).
Hon. Smart Okafor, who is representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, was inducted by the institute in recognition for his selfless contribution to managerial and administrative profession for the Development of Mankind.
The young lawmaker who recently bagged a Master’s Degree in Business Administration for Nnamdi Azikiwe University was certificated as a fellow of the institute on Wednesday, 11th May, 2022.

The former student leader who had his first stint on higher education at Federal Polytechnic Oko where he displayed exceptional leadership skills and left indelible legacies as the Students’ Union President 2006/2007, has attended different special trainings both on scholarships and self-sponsored in the past.
He is also a graduate of Business and Entrepreneurship of the prestigious University of Texas, United State of America (USA), and a member of Austin Black Chamber, Austin Texas, Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni, LEAP Africa Youth Leadership Programme Alumni, Commonwealth DYLP Alumni, LEAP Africa Integrity Institute Alumni, University of Texas IVP Alumni, Harambe Nigeria Alumni and Alamo City Chamber of Commerce, San Antonio.
Nonso Smart Okafor has attended the following trainings, Discovering Young Leaders Programme (DYLP) of the Commonwealth, Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) of LEAP Africa, Mentorship Programme with Microsoft 4Afrika, Development Foundation (USADF), Leadership, Ethics, Civics Programme Volunteers Training of LEAP Africa and many others.
