Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, has declared a gift to assist Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Tinubu met with Governor Bello in a closed-door meeting in Abuja on Friday, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

The meeting’s agenda was unclear at the time, although there were rumors that it was part of Tinubu’s reconciliation efforts to appease disgruntled presidential hopefuls.

Tinubu was accompanied to the meeting with Kogi State Governor by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), and Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano).

Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State and former national chairman of the APC, was also among the group.

At today’s meeting, Bello announced a donation of an office to Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign.

Tinubu praised Bello for his generosity and told him that he would strive for the party’s and country’s unity.

Remember that Governor Bello was one of 22 other APC presidential contenders who were defeated by Tinubu in the party’s primary poll in Abuja on Wednesday to secure the party’s presidential ticket for the 2023 general elections.
