LATEST: Anambra NUJ To Host Bloggers Summit

To create an avenue for networking among bloggers and managing information crisis in the Era of Citizen Journalism, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra State Council has unveiled her plans to host a Bloggers Summit.

The bloggers submit which is organized by Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra State Council is in partnership with Life International Hospital, Awka.

Scheduled to hold on Friday 8th July, 2022, at Godwin Ezeemo International Press Center, Awka, with the theme; ‘Managing Information Crisis in the Era of Citizen Journalism’, the summit will be under the Distinguished Chairmanship of Chief Demian Okeke-Ogene, National Vice President Ohaneze Ndigbo.

According to organizers, the summit is expected to attract the presence of the Executive Governor Anambra State, His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, and the Commissioner for Information Anambra State, Chief Paul Nwosu.

Others are the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Anambra State on New Media, Mazi Ejimofor Opara, Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha and, Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke, Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha and, Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, Igwe Umunya, His Royal Highness Igwe Chris Onyekwuluje.

Those expected to speak during the summit include, Senior Lecturer & H.O.D. Research & General Studies, NTA Television College Jos, Dr. Chinelo Ude-Akpeh, Deputy Chancellor Administration, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Joseph Ikechebelu, Former Managing Director, Anambra Broadcasting Service, (ABS) and Chairman, Umunna Media Limited, Chief Dr. Uche Nworah, Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Echeng Eworo Echeng and others.
