After hosting a lavish party to commemorate Peter Obi’s birthday today, a town in Benue state elevated their adoration of him to a new level. Peter Obi is the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra, turns a new age today, July 19.
The community reportedly donated N1 million of their own money to plan a celebration and invite the people to celebrate with the presidential contender on his special day.
As Peter Obi, the 61-year-old presidential candidate of the Labour Party, celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar did the same.
In a social media message, the former vice president referred to Obi as his “good friend” and wished him many years of health.

Sharing a picture of the former Anambra governor, Atiku wrote, “On behalf of my family, I wish my good friend, presidential candidate of the LP, and former Governor of Anambra State, H.E Peter Obi, a memorable 61st birthday celebration. I wish you many more years in good health and vitality.”
When Atiku ran for president in 2019 on the Peoples Democratic Party banner, Obi served as his previous running partner.
