Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and a presidential contender for the Labour Party, recently paid Bishop David Oyedepo a visit at the Canaanland headquarters of the Living Faith Church Worldwide in Ota, Ogun state.
The cleric was visited by the former Anambra governor on his birthday, Tuesday, July 19, according to reports.
On Wednesday, Leke Beecroft, one of the church’s pastors in Canaanland, posted a picture of the Labour party candidate and clergyman together on his Facebook page.

Obi’s political ambitions in front of the 2023 presidential race may not be unrelated to the visit, even though the specifics of it are still unknown.
However, according to report, the visit was for “priestly and birthday blessings.”
Recall that Bishop David Oyedepo has been a vocal opponent of President Muhammadu Buhari’s All Progressive Congress administration.
Additionally, he had called the current administration evil and corrupt.
