Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto, paid ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo a visit on Sunday in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
They met at the former president’s penthouse residence at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL).
According to a statement from spokesman Kehinde Akinyemi, Tambuwal and a few of his top aides arrived at the venue at 1:30 pm.

At around 2:40 pm, the governor and his host came to a conclusion of the discussion of national matters.
Obasanjo ate lunch with his visitor, who then visited the mosque inside OOPL for prayer before departing the building.
