Cyriel Dessers, a Nigerian striker, won’t rule out leaving Genk in the summer despite having scored three goals and provided an assist in the Belgian club’s first two league games, according to ANAEDOONLINE.NG Sports Extra.

The 27-year-old, who has so far filled in for his countryman Paul Onuachu, who was hurt in the attack in Genk, has been linked with moves to FC Copenhagen of the Danish Superliga and Cremonese of Serie A.

Dessers bagged a brace as Genk defeated Standard Liege 3-1 at the Luminus Arena on Sunday. Prior to his double against Liege, the Nigerian was also on target for Genk in their 3-2 win over Club Brugges in their opening game of the Belgian league season.

“I’m really enjoying myself here, with this team and this coach (Wouter Vrancken), who makes a great impression on me.
