Former presidential aide Reno Omokri criticized Festus Keyamo for claiming that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), had more experience than Atiku Abubakar, the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Keyamo claimed in an interview aired on Channels TV on Friday that Abubakar is not as tried and true as Obi.
In contrast to both Obi and Bola Tinubu, who have held governorship roles and have the authority to make final choices, he contended that Atiku has only served as vice president, and vice presidents do not have the last say in making decisions in government.
Keyamo stated that it would be incorrect to elect the PDP candidate to lead Nigeria in 2023 since Obi has more experience than Atiku in making the final decision in administration.
In response, Omokri said in a message published on his Twitter account on Saturday that Keyamo’s remarks on Atiku showed illiteracy.
Omokri wrote: “Keyamo displayed ignorance in saying Atiku has no executive capacity, and Obi has more experience than him.
“Who was in charge when President Obasanjo travelled and Ngige was abducted on July 10, 2003? It was Atiku. Atiku ORDERED Tafa Balogun to restore Ngige to power!”
