JUST IN: Delta Airline Suspends Flights From New York To Lagos

Beginning on October 4, 2022, Delta Air Lines will stop operating flights between Lagos and New York’s JFK airport.

The airline made this announcement in a statement, adding that the suspension of the service was necessary given “the current demand climate.”

In order to accommodate the present demand situation, Delta is discontinuing its nonstop service between New York-JFK and Lagos, according to the statement.

“The airline continues to operate service between Lagos and Atlanta and offers onward connections to New York and other cities across the United States.

“Customers impacted by our suspended New York-JFK to Lagos service will be re-accommodated on Delta operated flights or services operated by our joint venture partners. Delta remains committed to the Nigeria market.”
