Veteran Nollywood performer Kenneth Okonkwo believes that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has the answers to the nation’s problems.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the actor said this during an interview on Arise TV on August 31st.

When questioned why Obi is camping out with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who is seen as a contributing factor to the country’s problems, Kenneth responded that the senior man might teach the former governor of Anambra State some lessons that are not beneficial to Nigeria.

He pointed out that Obasanjo is no longer eligible to run for president and that he is not interested in fame or wealth but rather is one of those fighting for the survival of the nation.

The actor claims that since everyone in Nigeria—including the terrorists—is looking for a solution, everyone is responsible for ensuring the existence of the nation.

He asserted that Peter Obi is Nigerians’ sole means of escape and that everyone must follow suit.

When given the opportunity, Kenneth said he would ask Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to withdraw their candidacies in favor of the former governor of Anambra state.
