Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, who represents the Enugu East Senatorial District in Congress, has participated in two distinct political parties’ campaign councils in the run-up to the 2023 presidential elections.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the All Progressives Congress, the party in power, placed Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the South-East on its presidential campaign list when he was the governor of Enugu State.
The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-endorsed lawmaker is listed as number 350 on the most current APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) list.

Party stakeholders had reacted to the news, concluding that the former governor’s participation might have been a mistake.
However, in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, the council’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga, claimed that Chimaroke’s participation in the 422 man council was intentional.
The federal legislator has also kept up his support for Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate.
However, Anaedoonline.ng noted that the legislator also appeared on the roster of the PDP’s 600-member campaign council.
In the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s newly established campaign council, Senator Nnamani was named as number 69.
