Senator Iyorchia Ayu, the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has refuted Nyesom Wike’s accusation that he received N1 billion from anyone, and he has warned anyone who feels wronged to stay away from his family.
When asked about the accusations made against him, Ayu refuted Wike’s charges and stated that the party members will soon have access to the account statement.
As the party’s founding father, the PDP National Chairman said he chose to be quiet in order for peace to rule.

Additionally, Ayu pleaded with all party members who were offended to spare his family. “I felt compelled to promote peace. However, where it affects my integrity, even my own family members are brought into play.
“I appeal to aggrieved people to desist from trying to malign my character or bringing my family into party affairs.
” I never collected 1 billion from anybody. And the 100 million that was donated by one of the governors was judiciously used for the purpose that it was given”.
