META, an international technological corporation based in the United States, has acknowledged a WhatsApp outage on October 25, 2022.

CNN reports that a large outage on WhatsApp is preventing some users from utilizing the service to send messages.

The company, which also operates Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp among other things, declared that it is working nonstop to get service back up and running as quickly as possible.

According to statistics from Down Detector, there have reportedly been close to 70,000 app-based reports of the outage.

The business spokeswoman told CNN Business that they are aware of the issue and are working to fix it.

“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages and we’re working to restore Whatsapp for everyone as quickly as possible,” said the spokesperson.
