Today, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, will make his seven-point platform available to the public (Monday).

Doyin Okupe, the director general of the Labour Party’s presidential campaign, announced this in a tweet late on Sunday.

According to him, the document titled “The Pact with Nigeria” will outline the seven goals that Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed, his running companion, have for the country’s governance.

The agenda, in Okupe’s words, will bring about “our dream of a new Nigeria.

Okupe said, “Tomorrow the 31st of October, the presidential campaign organisation of the LP will release to the media & the public ‘The Pact with Nigeria’, the document that chronicles the seven governance priorities of the Obi-Baba Ahmed administration which will usher in our dream for a new Nigeria.”

This occurs one day after Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s presidential candidate, delivered his 80-page platform to Afenifere, a pan-Yoruba sociopolitical organization.

Tinubu also earned the support of the Afenifere leaders during the presentation at Pa Reuben Fasoranti’s home in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.

The former governor of Lagos State will meet with representatives from the business community and the organized private sector on Tuesday to discuss his Action Plan.
