APC Fixes Anambra Rally On Monday, Dares IPOB (Full Details)

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed the full campaign schedule for its candidate, Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, for the 2023 presidential election.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the schedule revealed on Wednesday, the ruling party will kick off its campaign on November 15, 2022, with a rally in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

The grand finale has been scheduled on February 13, 2023 in Lagos State.

Aside from rallies across the federation’s states, the APC calendar also includes dates for various zonal rallies, town hall meetings, overseas engagements, and break time.

However, one significant observation from the disclosed calendar is the event scheduled for Monday, January 30, 2023 in Anambra State.

The timing of the Anambra demonstration drew the attention of political observers since it coincided with the usual sit-in proclaimed in the southeast area by members of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

According to IPOB, the sit-in, which causes businesses in the neighborhood to close and imposes human and vehicular limitations, is part of efforts to persuade the federal government to free its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
