Senator Orji Kalu, the Chief Whip of the Senate, has expressed sympathy to President Hajia Laraba Dauda’s family and to Major General Muhammadu Buhari.
In a letter of condolence sent on Friday, Kalu praised the deceased’s good actions and urged the president to find comfort in the fact that Dauda had left her family and loved ones with extraordinary bequests.
The president’s nephew, Mallam Mamman Daura, also received condolences from the former governor of Abia.

I offer my condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari about the passing of his niece, Hajia Laraba Dauda, Kalu remarked.
“The deceased was an upright woman who cared deeply for the well-being of her fellow citizens.
“She will be remembered for her good deeds.
“Our prayers and thoughts are with the president and his family during this period of grief.”
Kalu prayed to Allah to make Al-Jannah Firdaus the final abode for Hajia Dauda.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Dauda is survived by several brothers and sisters, including Malam Mamman Daura, the president’s nephew.
