Most Rev. Daniel Okoh, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has assured Nigerians that the 2023 general elections will not divide the country.

Okoh said this while emphasizing that God has picked those who will rule the country.

He claimed that because God was with Nigeria, he would not allow the country to dissolve.

Okoh made the promise during a Christmas concert in Asaba, Delta State.

The CAN President urged Nigerians to vote for leaders who would turn around the country’s fortunes, saying that God would not abandon the country to its fate.

According to Okoh: “The coming election will not break Nigeria. As a matter of fact, 2023 is the year of golden opportunity for Nigeria.

“God has already chosen those who will lead the people come 2023 and since God is interested in the government and the economy of men, then the people should be involved because God will use people to turn things around for the country.”

The CAN President also assuaged Nigerians’ fears, emphasizing that God was concerned about the country’s governance.
