According to the Italian newspaper Il Mattino, Manchester United are planning a big summer bid for Super Eagles and Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen.
United just loaned out Wout Weghorst, and adding a striker in the summer transfer window will be a priority for the Red Devils, as Dutch manager Erik ten Hag will want to bolster his team with a prolific forward.
Ten Hag has selected Nigeria international Osimhen as a target and hopes to get him to the Premier League next season.

“Manchester United are already lining up to sign Victor Osimhen, with many intermediaries already at work to bring him to the Premier League after this season,” Il Mattino reports.
According to the estimate, the former Lille star is worth at least €150 million.
In the race to sign him, United will be joined by Newcastle United and Arsenal.
However, the 24-year-old Nigeria international has stated that he is focused on assisting Napoli in winning the title and has urged his entourage to postpone any discussions about his future until June.
Osimhen’s contract is set to expire in 2025, with an annual compensation of €4.3 million. It will be tough for Napoli to maintain him by proposing a new term, also because Aurelio De Laurentiis doesn’t intend to provide greater salary.
