Obiageli Ezekwesili, a former Minister of Education, has urged Nigerians who are tired of terrible administration to obtain Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) ahead of the upcoming general election.

According to her, PVC is currently the most important property for voting for Labour Party candidates (LP).

According to news sources, Ezekwesili used the microblogging network Twitter to urge people to collect their PVCs.

This comes after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) extended the deadline for PVC collecting by one week, to February 5th.

On Saturday, news outlets claimed that the INEC has extended the deadline for collecting PVC by another week.

According to reports, the commission announced this in a statement issued on Saturday by its spokesman, Festus Okoye.

The electoral umpire had already set the collection date for Sunday, January 29, 2023.

However, following a meeting on Saturday, January 28th, Okoye stated that the commission has extended the deadline by seven days to guarantee that registered voters have adequate time to collect their PVCs before the upcoming election.

Okoye revealed that the commission has now moved the collection date from January 29th to February 5th, 2023, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

According to the former minister, who is a Labour Party supporter, only individuals who are tired of lousy governance will vote for the party.

She wrote “And when that day comes, all citizens who are tired of being badly governed shall each go out and place their right index thumb on the Mama, Papa and Pikin logo of LP as seen here!

“Get your PVCs. Do everything possible to get it.

“The PVC is your greatest possession now.”
