Before the campaign rally, Peter Obi would, as is customary, meet with stakeholders in the state.

Peter Obi’s visit to Lagos for an interactive session with the Nigerian Economic Summit Group came just hours before the Kwara campaign rally.

Meanwhile, in an interview with NESG on Monday morning, Obi outlined seven key initiatives that his government would implement if elected.

They include addressing insecurity, transitioning the country from consumption to production, restructuring and institutional reforms, encouraging the application of scientific and technological innovations, constructing world-class infrastructures, enhancing human capital for youths, and conducting afro-centric diplomacy to protect citizens’ rights.

The former Anambra State Governor stated that he and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, are both devoted to and have sacrificed themselves for the good course of restoring Nigeria’s greatness.

According to Obi, Nigeria’s problem is not a lack of development reports, plans, and manifestos, but rather a lack of the right leadership to patriotically appreciate the efforts of organizations such as NESG for a better and more inclusive Nigeria through the committed implementation of devoted reports.
